Parkruns are free, timed, 5 kilometre runs that take place every Saturday at 9am in more than 500 parks and woodlands around the world. These events are coordinated by local volunteers and are open to people of all ages and abilities, with the emphasis on fun and fitness. parkrun is not a race – it’s a timed run with your friends.
Participants register for free on the parkrun website and print out a registration barcode, which is valid at any parkrun in the world every Saturday. There’s no commitment – anyone can just come along and run whenever they like.

Adult Swimming Lessons
Adult swimming lessons also form part of the Bourne2Swim scheme. It is never too late to start and not only do the adult lessons cater for the complete beginner but lessons are also available for the more advanced swimmer who wishes to refine their technique or who are training for a specific event.
It’s lots of fun, you’ll meet some good people and it is a great way to help increase fitness!
